Alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features and price forecasts are arriving only when more tech tipsters sound the death knell for the Galaxy Note series.

Specs and price predictions for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphone have started appearing on social media just as well-known tech commenters have been ringing the death knell for the Samsung Galaxy Note series. One analyst has stated there may be a Galaxy Note 20 FE while a tipster believes rollables will take over from the Note in 2022.

There have already been a number of stories claiming that the end of the Samsung Galaxy Note series is close and now two more well-known social media users are hammering their nails into the phablet's coffin. Display expert Ross Young said, "While there is no Note 21 coming, we can see Note 20 FE." Samsung's Galaxy Note Fan Version for the 2020 series might not be a bad way for the South Korean OEM to close the chapter on a smartphone that has been enjoyed by millions since it was first released in 2011. At the top of this, noted leaker Ice Universe clearly shared an image of the words "The End" along with "Galaxy Note."

It seems obvious that Samsung wants to force Galaxy Note fans to either follow a Galaxy S Series system (hence the S Pen support for the Galaxy S21 Ultra) or a foldable Z Series lineup. Numerous rumored features have already begun to appear on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone. Unsurprisingly, the Snapdragon 888 is supposed to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen (LTPO), 3.700-3.800 mAh battery, Gorilla Glass Victus on the rear, and stereo speakers. As for cameras, the Flip 3 is reportedly fitted with a 10 MP selfie shooter and a 12 MP + 12 MP + 64 MP key triple camera setup.

Moving on, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 can support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, provide 25 W easy charging, and there could also be an Exynos version. Another tech commentator reported that the cameras are more likely to be 12 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP and that the display would accommodate a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but as @LeaksWondering points out, the requirements could change during the production phase. Price forecasts for the Z Flip 3 ranged from US$1,280 to US$1,350 and up to US$1,499, with a possible June or July launch date suggested. As for the moribund Galaxy Note series, it appears that it will be replaced by a smart phone in 2022.
